Business transaction platform CapLinked announces the addition of industry veteran Dave Curran as a strategic advisor.

Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2013) — CapLinked (https://www.caplinked.com/), the cloud-based platform that makes business transactions simple and secure, announced the addition of Dave Curran as an advisor to the executive team. Mr. Curran has extensive experience with technology-enabled secure data exchange technologies, including as  EVP Business & Legal Affairs at IntraLinks, Inc., a virtual data room (VDR) provider.

This is the latest in a series of moves by CapLinked, which is offering companies a powerful and customizable solution for managing complex, sensitive deals. Mr. Curran brings to CapLinked extensive experience at the intersection of law, compliance, technology and enterprise risk readiness solutions. He has held senior leadership positions with several global technology companies, including as president and CEO of leading SaaS companies Integrity Interactive Corporation (now part of SAI Global) andDCI, Inc.,

“As a lawyer heavily involved in M&A and other transactions, Dave Curran was an early-adopter  of virtual data rooms when that technology was invented in the late-90s,” says CEO Eric M. Jackson, “and he has a great understanding of the challenges – technology and business — facing companies today when it comes to managing complex transactions. Dave has amazing insight into topics ranging from workflow to risk management and I’m thrilled to have him be part of CapLinked’s team.”

CapLinked co-founders Eric Jackson and Christopher Grey are pleased with the addition of Mr. Curran and said it is one of many exciting announcements the company has been able to make since its inception in 2010.   CapLinked—whose investors and founding team include early employees from PayPal—continues to offer a modern, customizable alternative the legacy VDR industry with its elegant product for coordinating on complex business deals such as asset sales, financings, and mergers & acquisitions. CapLinked offers a new alternative to VDRs, Microsoft Sharepoint extensions, and older file-sharing tools (such as FTP and flash drives) that many firms currently use for exchanging sensitive deal-oriented information.

CapLinked’s rapid innovation and growing client roster promises to shake up the industry. Mr. Curran notes, “I’m very pleased to join as an advisor to such an innovative and rapidly expanding company. CapLinked has built an elegant, easy-to-use platform designed to take on today’s real world business challenges with tomorrow’s technology and processes. This allows its clients to close deals faster, exchange files securely, and manage more deals at any given time.”

“CapLinked is a better solution for managing transactions than legacy tools like virtual data rooms and FTP,” adds Jackson. “Our software is easy to use and highly configurable. It works on iPads and all major browsers. Our pricing is transparent; there’s never any sticker shock at the end of a deal. We’re developing a superior user experience from start to finish, and I think the addition of an experienced industry veteran like Dave Curran to our team is going to help us make our service even better.”
